The Story
“Guarding the Globe” expands the Invincible universe by introducing a diverse, international team of superheroes united under the Guardians of the Globe banner. After the fall of the original team (a satirical nod to DC’s Justice League), this new group must step up to fill the void and protect Earth from global and intergalactic threats.
In Vol. 1, the formation of the new team sees them face powerful crime networks and alien incursions while building fragile alliances. By Vol. 2, the stakes are higher, with internal conflicts, betrayals, and mysterious cosmic enemies threatening to tear the team apart from within. The Extras include character backstories, variant covers, and behind-the-scenes sketches that give deeper insight into the worldbuilding.
Notable Extras Included
- Character bios and art sketches
- Variant covers
- Creator commentary
- Expanded lore from the Invincible universe
